  • Danzhu (单株) means a single tree when applying a direct translation. Usually, danzhu is noticeably thick if placed in the tea farm with other tea trees. Recently, the term 'danzhu' is also used to imply the age of the tea trees
    • Honghe Danzhu(2021): We made a contract on 113 danzhu(s). This tea was made by selecting tea leaves harvested from the 113 danzhu(s). Notes: sweet and fruity (Don't forget to smell the teacup after enjoying the tea for enhanced sweetness!)
    • Baoshan Danzhu (2021, 2022): We have found three tea farms in Baoshan, Yunnan since 2019. This tea was made by picking tea leaves from danzhu level trees in tea farms #2 and #3, which generally have bigger, thicker, and older tea trees than that of tea farm #1 
    • Hua Zhu Liang Zi Danzhu (2022): Meng Song is one of the oldest tea tree districts in Menghai and is the highest peak of Xishuangbanna. Also known as the roof of Xisuangbanna, you can overlook guchashu (old tea mountains) from the peak. 7 villages respectively own and manage tea tree forests. This tea is hands down one of our favorite teas we produced in 2022.
