  • 요변 [窯變]: Due to high temperature of 1300C or more in the woodfired klin, unexpected color and pattern appears. This occurs rarely and is called yaobian. Some artists use yaobian glaze to create/expect this circumstances, but the yaobian of this piece has occurred naturally.
  • 半手功 / 반수공 / semi-handmade: Making method of semi-handmade yixing teapot itself is identical with that of entirely handcrafted yixing teapot. However, semi-handmade is completed by using the mold to make a shape/form of the teapot.
