  • The potters implemented new technique of Sanggam(상감기법) to their pieces. Widely used and developed during Goryo era, Sanggam is known to add contrast by removing initial sand and engraving other types of sands so that you get a stark contrast with the base sand. Peony is engraved using the sanggam technique. 
  • This is a sizeable teapot with handle. Dumbungyi (덤벙이) style.
  • Buncheong wares use dark clay with a white slip and it contains its unique beauty differentiated by white porcelains and celadon.
  • Each piece is unique and slight variations will exist as all the pieces are handcrafted.
  • Different from white porcelain, which does not absorb any tea, buncheong wares gradually absorb teas you drink as they are breathable. As such, it will become your one and only piece as time goes by leaving unique scenery on the tea ware.
